HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and to make decent shelter a
matter of conscience and action. They invite people from all walks of life and faiths to work together in partnership
to build and repair houses with families in need. There are certain criteria to meet for eligibility. See contacts for more information.
The Habitat ReStore receives building materials, both new and gently used, that have been donated
by corporations, home construction companies, and individuals. Items that are not able to be used directly by Habitat
for Humanity in their home building and repair programs are sold at the ReStore to the general public at 40% to 90% off retail
prices. Proceeds from the ReStore go into Habitat's building programs, helping to provide adequate housing and home repairs
for local families. The ReStore is located at 9506 Center Street, Manassas. The phone number is 703-369-6145.
